Gender Equality Representative

Realising equality of opportunity is an important goal of the LMU Munich as well as the Faculty of History and the School of the Arts. The gender equality representative of our faculty and her representatives support the faculty and the university in removing discriminatory practices and implementing fair methods regarding equalisation.
As an additional field of duty, the gender equality representative counsels our staff as well as our students in questions of career management and compatibility of family and career. Apart from that, she is your in-house contact person for issues of sexual harassment or discrimination of any kind.

The gender equality representative is entrusted with organising events which speak to your studies, research and career entry from a perspective considering issues of gender equality. These meetings pull their weight towards accrediting more irregular curriculae vitae at our university. The gender equality representative is your contact person for all questions of advancement of women at our faculty.
